Writer Michael Tracey set off an online firestorm this week when he threatened to “identify” the Jane Doe at the heart of a civil lawsuit against Cornell University and the victim of a violent sexual assault. The seven men at the heart of the lawsuit, all fraternity brothers of Chi Phi, drugged and assaulted Jane Doe over the course of seven hours and inviting other fraternity brothers over group chat to join in on the gang rape. Jane Doe’s lawsuit has sparked outrage and calls for a new criminal investigation into her reports from that night in October 2024.

Michael Tracey’s threats to out this poor woman were thankfully met with quick and fierce backlash online. Within hours, post after post on Threads outed his own address, phone numbers, and email. While I am not in support of publicly doxxing anyone, there was a satisfaction in seeing a steady stream of “WANTED” pictures of his sweaty face and bulbous nose.
When posts with his contact information started to slow down, a new message started to emerge; I AM JANE DOE.
Suddenly, every woman online was claiming to be THE Jane Doe of the Cornell case as an act of solidarity and protection.
I AM JANE DOE.
It is powerful. A direct call back to the original intention of the #MeToo movement. To stand in solidarity with a sister survivor and form an online protective chain to protect her from further trauma.
Michael Tracey is no stranger to attacking sexual assault victims of high profile cases. For good reason. There is money to be made in protecting predators and smear campaigns against survivors. Prior to Michael Tracey single handedly reinvigorating the #MeToo movement with his brazen proclamation to out a victim, Tracey was desperate to get in on the Epstein cover up smear campaign and the benefits of being proxy to predators.
In the above clip I used to introduce this piece, a sweaty disheveled looking Tracey was asked directly by Epstein journalist Tara Palmeri “who is paying you?” Conveniently, Tracey feigns difficulty hearing Palmeri to divert from the question.
But my readers of “The She-Wolves of London” know that payment on these smear campaigns comes in all sizes, shapes, colors, and forms. For an example, read Parts Four and Five where I discuss Depp Vs. Heard and the influencer campaign that was lucrative to many.
Tracey first came onto my radar a little over a year ago by way of Jessica Reed Kraus or HouseInHabit on Substack and Instagram. I have been following Kraus’s misguided reporting on the Epstein case since 2023 when our paths crossed over her smear article on Epstein victim, Maria Farmer. For the most part, I am familiar with the ecosystem of people who generally report on Epstein case files. Tracey was a new face but his rhetoric was not.
He, like others before him, have tried to pick a part Virginia Giuffre’s story and have tried to claim she was more recruiter than victim. Kraus, in her desperation to exonerate Ghislaine Maxwell, found a home in Tracey’s familiar misogynistic twists to Epstein survivor stories.
So much so that in August of 2025, hot off our Administrations announcement that they were no longer going to investigate anyone in the Epstein files, Kraus accidentally on purpose plagiarized Michael Tracey. And he did NOT like it.

It gets better. In a RARE show of mia culpa, Kraus had to relent and issue an apology to Michael Tracey. That is right. Jessica Reed Kraus had to publicly admit that she plagiarized his smear articles on Epstein survivors. Remember, she had lost her writing team by this point. Her well was drying up.
Her apology:

My read is that Kraus did not think her lifting of his work would get back to him and I believe she thought he would have felt flattered by her endorsement of him. However, as the world can see now, Michael Tracey does not respect women. Even women who agree with his bad takes.
This error in assumptions was the first crack in the mirror to Kraus’s Epstein coverage. While I continue to follow her page closely, she is no longer discussing anything related to Epstein or her favorite hybristophilic obsession; Ghislaine Maxwell. Same as her friend and fellow she-wolf; Lady Victoria Hervey. The silence I believe is not due to lack of interest in Epstein rather more of an indication that our administration is losing control over the files. Kraus, I believe, has been asked not to report on Epstein.
However, in his rush to prove a point about Cornell Jane Doe, Michael Tracey revamped the sisterhood of survivors that was the essence of #MeToo with a loud roaring I AM JANE DOE.
I continue to work on this next chapter of “The She-Wolves of London” with a deep dive into Rina Oh Amen Vs. Virginia Giuffre. It is a chapter I must take care in writing as it has big implications.
While I have never felt threatened in my writing of this story, some of the Epstein survivors and my sources have received threats. One such threat that was relayed to me recently was that “if Rina Oh loses her lawsuit” I may be faced with a lawsuit of my own. However, you cannot sue someone for reviewing publicly available court records, publicly posted social media, reviewing timelines, and giving opinion. So I am unafraid of any such loose threats by unnamed callers in the night.
It only peaks my curiosity more as to why so much time, money, and effort has been spent on a defamation case between two survivors.
I AM JANE DOE but I am not Jane Dumb.

I have met many versions of Tracey in the past 3 to 4 years they are the grotesque repulsive ameobas of life. To doxx a survivor has to be as low as the crime the victim originally suffered by the perpetrator. They are complicit in abuse. We are all Jane Doe to these low base humans if there are even that.
This piece is so well written. Out of the 57 in the chat group 1 was asleep and woke up angry and shared the group chat to the victim which helped her case get to court. Lets look at that statistic 1 in 57 had the moral decorum to act right.
As for Rina Oh Amen she seems like a serial abuser of the judicial system just like her husband. Just because you are excellent at research and find stuff in the public domain and write it out so well is the reason she may feel threatened because you are shining that big ole truth light on how immoral she is in ger actions. Keep going Anne
Well we now know Michael Tracy never saw the Kirk Douglas film Sparticus ("I Am Sparticus!"). We also know he has hearing issues when his background is challenged.
The question follows; why does he continue to get away with this crap when he should be charged with endangering a witness?
